CORY BOOKER! He’s currently (as I type this) kicked off a marathon speech on the Senate floor to protest Trump administration actions. This is in response to PRESSURE FROM THEIR BASE (that’s us) TO DO MORE TO STAND UP TO TRUMP. Stay tuned to find out how long Cory held the podium. He just finished reading emails, letters and postcards from his constituents. I’m telling you, this works.

Let’s encourage this good trouble with a couple hundred messages of praise.

Another great thing happened today - Washington’s Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal has started a new training course called The Resistance Lab. We’ve filled out the forms and we are awaiting the tools and resources - and if it’s as good as we think, we will use this for the next meetup. This could be really great. :) She’s taking charge and leading the way - read the info below and do your own search for more info.

Do you need cardboard or posterboard for signs? I am saving boxes at the shop and I’m happy to share - otherwise the Dollar Tree on Jefferson St (next to McDonalds) has a bunch of posterboard and everything in there is only $1.25.
